Welcome to EnergyWise Structures___ The Home of Ultra Energy Efficient Engineering.htm The Hilton Garden Inn in Richardson, Texas with

86,401 square feet was engineered by EnergyWise and is saving over $6,000 per month!

As a new construction project, we implemented the complete EnergyWise program resulting in an energy tax credit of $1.80 per square foot in addition to engineering an ultra energy efficient, healthy hotel. Typical hotels of similar footprint in the chain are averaging $9,504 per month in heating and cooling. The EnergyWise guarantee not to exceed is just $3,456, a savings of over $6,000 every month!

New Construction (interior is under construction) Installed the VRV-s system as both cooling and heating

systems To save energy cost, the VRV heat pump system will be used

as long as possible. Fuel cost is getting higher.• Ambient thermostat that is set setpoint as 20F will lockout

heat pump• It also kick on heat pump with a suitable differential (+10F?)

The zone valve for the hot water coil is controlled by the KRP1B adapter that is installed in the indoor unit.

• While heat pump is locked out, the valve is controlled as a primary heater. (+/- 1F basis)

• Otherwise in the heating mode, it is controlled as an AUX heater. (7.2F differential basis)

• 7.2F basis might work well if heat pump lock out temperature, 20F, is suitable for this project; this means that the heat pump can afford to heat up 7.2F temperature differences.

The end switch, it will be on when the valve fully opens, on the zone valve kicks on the boiler. And boiler circulate the hot water and maintain its temperature.

Lennox ducted split system with hot water coil that controls three zone dampers is also installed. This system covers lower side of the house and the VRV system covers upper side.

• If we had the residential AHU, we could cover this parts. The zoning might be crucial though.
