1. UNDERSTAND PEOPLE

You cannot succeed in Social Media marketing, unless you understand your people (visitors to your page, blog, website, etc.), their

demographic composition, educational status, cultural taboos, likes and dislikes, preferences, hobbies, habits, comfort zones,

expectations etc.

2. NETWORK ECOSYSTEM

You need to create a linkage between and among Social networking sites, websites, blogs, webinars and Slideshares to optimize the social

media engagement of your people. It is essential to create navigating opportunities for your people take part in different

type of activities. Also, integrate your online and offline opportunities here.

3. APPROPRIATE SALUTATION

How would you call your people? Remember, your selection of a salutation is situational. If required, don’t hesitate to call your people either by first name or second name. However, in business discussions
