Thanks!
Wildlife & Habitat Management staff maintain SCCF preserves to remove
exotics and sustain a native wildlife habitat;
Sea Turtle & Shorebird Management staff work to sustain productive
nesting patterns for sea turtles and shorebirds;
Native Landscapes & Garden Center staff encourage the use of native
plants and sustainable gardening practices;
Marine Laboratory scientists use science-based research to sustain the
water quality that, despite manmade challenges, still defines our estuary;
Environmental Education staff share the SCCF story with new audiences
at our Nature Center, at our Bailey Homestead and with public outreach
in compelling and engaging ways, so they too will want to sustain the
sanctuary islands we are honored to protect and preserve.

BAILEY HOMESTEAD
Propagating rare and unusual Florida native plants has been a coremission of the Native Landscapes & Garden Center since its founding 40years ago. With the move to the Bailey Homestead, the Native Landscape& Garden Center has been growing plants in its former location at areduced rate, due to the aging of the former facility and the difficulty ofoperating in two locations. Help complete the vision for the BaileyHomestead with the construction of a new propagation facility. Propagation Facility: $80,000.00

Help us to create beautifuland sustainable native landscapes throughout the islands! Flatbed Truck: $45,000.00
HOPES AND DREAMS
WE DEARLY NEED A DEERE

TROLLING FOR RESEARCH
A trolling motor for Marine Lab boats will help themmap shallow water oyster reefs and sea grass flats.The electric motors can be mounted to a kayak orother small boat and used in combination withsurvey equipment to create maps of natural andrestored oyster reefs. It is also useful for samplingin no combustion motor zone such a Wulfert Flats. Trolling Motor: $1,250.00
SLIP ON
The SCCF Prescribed Burn Program needs a slip-on unit for its F350Pick-up truck.
