We are pleased to invite you to partner with us in staging this terrific community event held annually in Vancouver, Washington.

2015 National Get Outdoors Day!

When: Saturday, June 13, 2015, 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Where: Fort Vancouver National Historic Site - as a gateway to the great outdoors in the Portland/Vancouver metro area, Fort Vancouver offers an ideal location for Get Outdoors Day (“GO Day”). What: An opportunity to try fun outdoor activities including rock climbing, fishing, archery, biking, hiking, camping, campfire cooking, and much more. Outdoor ambassadors Smokey Bear, Woodsy Owl, Ranger Rick, and their furry and feathered friends will also be on site join in the fun. Who: Annually more than 5,000 local outdoor enthusiasts, novices, and “wannabes” attend this fun-filled day. Why: To engage the community, specifically youth, in all the great outdoors has to offer through participation in fun new activities. The GO Day Committee is ramping up its efforts this year and, thanks to partnerships with federal, state, and local parks departments, the City of Vancouver, the National Park Service, and the USDA Forest Service, and a huge contingent of local businesses and organizations, we are confident the 2015 Get Outdoors Day will be the biggest and best one ever.

We Need Your Help!

You can help us in our efforts by participating at the event, promoting GO Day through your contacts, customers, and connections, and by bringing creative, interesting, healthy, outdoors, and educational new activities to this year’s event. The Fort Vancouver site offers plenty of space for on-site representation, activities, and hands-on demonstrations. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available, each of which demonstrates your commitment to the great outdoors and provides promotional recognition for your business/organization. Sponsorships are available at a variety of levels including $1,500 Expedition Leader, $1,000 Mountain Climber, $500 Biker, and $250 Trail Walker (please see the attached sponsorship

www.nationalgetoutdoorsday.org
