Message From the President
Dear Friends of CNM,
Thanks for taking the time to browse through our 2018-19 Fact Book.
As our states largest community college, we are striving every day to help
each of our students achieve their educational and career goals while
producing a skilled workforce that helps our local economy grow and thrive.
We take great pride in serving students from all backgrounds, a critical role
that CNM embraces on behalf of our community. We serve a very diverse
student body, which includes many first-generation college students, recent
high school graduates transitioning to college, adult learners seeking to get
retrained for a new career, and students starting at CNM with plans to transfer
to a university.
For all of our students, we provide award-winning student support services
that are tailored to each individual. And for 55 years, we have remained
committed to keeping a CNM education affordable and accessible to all of
our community members.
We also work very closely with business, industry, and government agencies
in central New Mexico to ensure that were constantly updating our programs
or creating new ones to meet the workforce needs of our regions economy.
I hope youll explore our Fact Book to see how were doing as we constantly
work to advance our Strategic Directions of Student Success, Community
Success, and Organizational Excellence and Innovation.
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Tracy Hartzler
