Professional appearance is an important aspect of the overall preparation of DECA members for the business world. To that end, Indiana DECA supports a dress code for its career-based functions that exemplifies the highest standards of professionalism while being non-discriminatory between males and females.
Leadership Workshop #1 (9:30-10:15 a.m.)
Personal Branding presented by Dr. Ray Sylvester of Anderson University (Santa Fe)
This workshop will center around Personal Branding. Please check the conference app for exact title and description of the workshop. Dr. Ray Sylvester is currently associate professor of marketing and personal branding at Anderson Univer-sity. He was a senior lecturer and leader of two music business programs at Buckinghamshire New University. He co-wrote the first music business program in Europe in 1996. He works with executives, professional athletes, and chart-topping artists/musicians. Ray has presented across both Europe and the US on the topic of personal branding.

At this session, you’ll get answers to these questions, which will help you choose the business program that will best prepare you for the dynamic world of business.
