Objective of Product
Provide a convenient means to connect a standard PC or laptop computer to a FOUNDATION fieldbus segment.
Not intended to be used to implement a permanent fieldbus Host system.
Features Fully compliant with FF Specifications Joins the fieldbus segment as a Visitor Two Power Modes
– USB provides power to FF segment (85 ma)– Use with segments that are already powered
Provides two Fieldbus terminators for segment Does not draw more than 12 ma from FF Segment CE and UL/CSA Approval Indicator lights for communication and power Uses standard USB cable Uses standard leadset (like the 475 Field Communicator)
