Who is wise and understanding amongst us? May we show by our good lives that our works are born of
God’s wisdom.Who has bitter envy and selfish ambition amongst us?May we not boast but be pure and peaceable in our ambition.Who shall love thyself and love the neighbor amongst us?May we yield a harvest full of mercy and good fruits.
+ hymn no. 698 God of Ages national hymn
+ Prayer of Confession
Your children cry out to you, O Lord. Our hearts are filled with hope to hold fast to your word and keep your commandments. We confess we have forsaken your Wisdom. We have struggled with being self-absorbed, caused others to suffer through our self-centered ways. Call us back, O Lord, to love your Wisdom and prize her. May she keep us and guard us. May we embrace her and may she honor us, your children. Amen.
Silent confession and reflection

Your life is a Sacred Journey – and it is about change,
growth, discovery, movement, transformation,
continuously expanding your vision of what is possible,
stretching your soul, learning to see clearly & deeply,
listening to your intuition, taking courageous risks, embracing
challenges at every step along the way.
You are on the path – exactly where
you’re meant to be right now...and from here,
you can only go forward, shaping your life story
into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage,
beauty, wisdom, power, dignity & love.
