A40/A417 Roundabout OverviewGloucestershire County Council together with GFirst LEP, are proposing to undertake highway improvement works to the A40 Over Roundabout. The scheme is planned to start early 2018 and will comprise of the following elements:

• A417 Southbound: widening of the southbound approach to the roundabout entry to extend three approach lanes at the junction Give Way line

• A40 Westbound: widening of the westbound approach to the roundabout entry to extend three lanes at the junction Give Way line

• A40 Roundabout Circulatory: the addition of a third circulatory lane
