Action Thriller: The features of an action adventure film are explosions, gun scenes and car chases. Thriller contains plot twists, suspense and hero in trouble. Many of the James Bond films are examples of this genre.

1930’SMR. MOTO TAKES A VACATION (1939)

Mr. Moto takes a vacation was released on the 7th July, 1939 and was directed by Norman Foster.

Mr Moto who is disguised as a German Archaeologist, discovers the Queen of Sheba’s crown and must protect it from criminals.

1940’SBERLIN EXPRESS (1948)

The man with the golden gun was another bond film which was released on the 19th December, 1974. The director was Guy Hamilton and was rated a PG.James Bond thinks he is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin and must hunt him down and try to stop him.

The running man was directed by Paul Michael Glaser and was released on the 21st October, 1987. The film was rated an 18.An arrested man must try to survive a public execution gauntlet staged as a TV game show but have they got the right man?

The Lethal Weapon was released on the 28th August, 1987 and directed by Richard Donner. The certificate of the film was an 18.
