(b) the Presanctified liturgy
The Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts was first documented byGregory Dialogos (540604), who had been the papal legate toConstantinople.[citation needed] At one time it was supposed
that he had composed the Liturgy himself, but now it is
generally supposed that he simply recorded what was
otherwise being practiced atConstantinople. In the
Presanctified Liturgy itself, he is still commemorated as itstraditional author.
This Liturgy is also mentioned in the Canons of the Quinisext
Council, of692 AD:
On all days of the holy fast of Lent, except on the Sabbath [i.e.,
Saturday], the Lord's Day[Sunday], and the holy day of the
Annunciation, the Liturgy of the Presanctified is to be served(Canon 52).

the artophorion is a very preciousbox, in the shape of church, there isspecial kind of silver or gold art to
make it, and it is always on allorthodox altars.
Pope Benedict (J. Ratzinger ) writesThe church never becomes a lifelessspace but is always filled with thepresence of the Lord, which comes
out of the celebration, leads us into it,and always makes us participants inthe cosmic Eucharist. What man offaith has not experienced this? Achurch without the EucharisticPresence is somehow dead, even
when it invites people to pray. But achurch in which the eternal light isburning before the tabernacle isalways alive, is always somethingmore than a building made of stone

but i would dare to remind you that in the orthodox altar there are always relics of
martyrs, because the most proper place to offer the liturgy, to place the holy gifts is the
body of those who loved Jesus more than their lives, who really made true

as Jeremy Driscoll
says very wisely, the
presence of the holy
communion, in a box
or in the chalice, it is
the evidence and the
proof that the
Eucharist was
celebratedin thischurch,

that just to adore IS NOT ENOUGH
the inner marriage
like loving a woman , it isnot enough to love her,but the next step is toget married with her andhave the fullness ofunion in the marriage.

We awaken in Christ's body
as Christ awakens our bodies,
and my poor hand is Christ, He enters my foot, and is infinitely me.
I move my hand, and wonderfully
my hand becomes Christ, becomes all of Him (for God is indivisibly
whole, seamless in His Godhood).I move my foot, and at once
He appears like a flash of lightning.
Do my words seem blasphemous? -- Then open your heart to Him
and let yourself receive the one who is opening to you so deeply.
For if we genuinely love Him, we wake up inside Christ's body
where all our body, all over, every most hidden part of it,
is realized in joy as Him,
and He makes us, utterly, real,
and everything that is hurt, everything that seemed to us dark,
harsh, shameful, maimed, ugly, irreparably
damaged, is in Him transformedand recognized as whole, as lovely, and radiant in His light
he awakens as the Beloved
in every last part of our body.

By what boundless mercy, my Savior,Have you allowed me to become a member of your body? Me, theunclean, the defiled, the prodigal. How is it that you have clothed meWith the brilliant garment,
Radiant with the splendor of immortality,That turns all my members into light ?Your body, immaculate and divine,Is all radiant with the fire of your divinity,With which it is ineffably joined and combined. This is the gift you have given me, my God:
That this mortal and shabby frameHas become One with your immaculate bodyAnd that my blood has been mingled with your blood.
8. hymns , st Symeon the new theologian
I sense too that here I have been made one with your divinity, And
have even become your own most pure body:A brilliant member lucidly transparent,Luminous and holy.
I see the beauty of it all, I can gaze upon your radiance. I havebecome a reflection of the light of your grace.

You who read this, recognize the merit of the same, which is afterthe bishop Damasus (preserved in the sky) pay the inscription.
The Jewish people had Stephen, because he warned them for the
better, to death with stones. The enemy has taken the trophy, hasendured as the first devout Levite martyrdom.
The holy Tarsicius who had the sacraments of Christ with them,
forced an evil gang, for unholy (the secret) to disclose. Of his life butwould rather be killed than to give up and the mad dogs

because gazing to the body of Christ, we
remember that Christ is not isolated, He is thecenter of all the saints, and they cannot beseparated from Him. and specially the Theotokos, His mother. And the first , free, subconsciouspure idea , is to OFFER OURSELVES, and one
another to HIM . so to adore is not so simple likefor example Jesus (there) and Me (here)

-preparing, making the bread and wine
-finishing the prayers of the priest (Amen, Holy god ...,
etc...) -mainly by receiving the holy communion
-CURING THE HOLY COMMUNION, INSIDE US ANDREFLECTING THE GRACE OF GOD TO OUR FAMILIES,
JOB, UNIVERSE. -by keeping the grace , by keeping the holy
communion alive inside us. Rev 3:15 , Rom 12:11

the Eucharist makes the church. (Zizioulas, Henry deLubac, Pope Benedict (Ratzinger)).
st Nikolas Cabasilas, a Liturgiologist of the 14th century, says, the
church is signified in the sacraments( ) but the sacraments, inplural , , all the fathers mean theEucharist. in the ancient texts of the liturgies (John Chrisostome, Basil)that we use till today , after the holy communion the priest says
Priest: Let us be attentive. Having partaken of the divine, holy, pure, immortal, heavenly, life giving, and awesome Mysteries ofChrist, let us worthily give thanks to the Lord.

from this point of view to adore only the holy sacrament islike putting Jesus in a box, -yes of course we have the bestintentions to honor Him- but how about Him? how he feels?
he wants to kiss me, He wants to enter to me, and he can
NOT. because i put him in the box. imagine to have your beloved person tied on a chair, and
confess to him/her your love, but this person CANNOT cometo kiss you , just hears your words!!!!!!!!

or think from Jesus perspective, if He is inside me, how he probably smiles
because of my ignorance? because he is inside me, and i do not pay
attention, but i look for Him outside....!!!
,, JESUS IS THE INITIATOR to anything, not we.
, Christ is NOT my object of attention. I am His
object.,
