Advanced Implant Dentistry Course Presented By: Drs. Andrew Ackermann, Greg Boyes-Varley,Michael Michael, Noland Naidoo
Sponsor:
Course Objective:This course is designed to provide a clinical review of, and provide hands-on participation with, angulated and wide-bodied implants allowing the attendee to experience how, with the use of these products, treatment time and cost may be reduced.
A significant advantage of angulated implants is the ability to overcome the anatomical constraints of the craniofacial skeleton, typically to avoid breaching the maxillary sinus and mandibular neurovascular bundle, as well as minor bony anatomical deficiencies. The use of angulated implants has reduced the need for bone grafting in all areas of the jaw, as well as reducing treatment time and cost.
The benefit of using molar specific, Wide-bodied Implants for immediate placement will also be discussed.
