The International Association of Pet Cemeteries & Crematories

(IAOPCC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing

the standards, ethics, and professionalism of pet cemeteries and

crematories around the world.

The IAOPCC represents the gold standard in both business and

ethics in the aftercare industry. Being an IAOPCC Member

assures your clients that they are dealing with a reputable

provider offering the finest in aftercare for their pet. IAOPCC

Members are expected to uphold the high standards set by

the Association and are bound by the standards and practices

set forth by the Association.

Our Services Are you looking for a caring, dignified, and respectful way

to honor your beloved companion? At Albuquerque Pet

Memorial Service, Inc. we offer you a wide selection of

urns, keepsakes, and jewelry to create the perfect

memorial for your best friend.

Our caring and professional staff are ready to care for you

and your family in your time of need.

We offer free home removal, Equine included, in

Albuquerque and Corrales (a pickup fee is applicable

outside of these areas). We also pick up and deliver, free

of charge, from ANY veterinary clinic in our service area.

Our service area extends as far North as Taos, Gallup, East

Mountains, as far South as Truth or Consequences and

everything in between!

Additionally, APMS offers discounts to our Military (both active duty and veteran) and their families, first

responders, rescue and foster families, and MORE!

OUR SERVICES CONTINUED… Equine Service

(Availability-State Wide)

1. Full Private Cremation – Full Return of your Equine Companion. Cremated

alone inside our cremation chamber; specifically designed for Equine. (Approx.

50 lbs. returned).

2. Communal Cremation w/ Portion Returned – A portion of your Equine

Companion returned. Cremated with small pets inside the Equine chamber.

Portion returned is guaranteed to be the cremated remain of your horse.

(Approx. 10 lbs. returned).

3. Communal Cremation – No cremated remains returned. This is an alternative

to burial.

Equine Wood Grain Earth Urn included in ALL RETURNED cremations

Companion Cremations

1. Witness/Full Private Cremation – By appointment only. Only pet inside of the

chamber. Owner(s) are present and take home their pet the same day.

2. Individual Cremation – Companions have their own defined space inside the

chamber. Guaranteed to receive the full return of your pet and your pet only.

3. Communal Cremation – No cremated remains returned. Alternative to burial.

Integrity Earth Urn is included with ALL RETURNED cremations.

ABOUT US David E. Gifford, President, started Albuquerque

Pet Memorial Service in 1999. As of 2018, David

has accumulated 38 years in the cremation

industry. Prior to starting the company David

worked for one of the world’s leading

manufacturer of crematories. David is the only

EPA certified instructor of cremation process

residing in the state of New Mexico.

Daughter, Deidra E. Ewers – Vice President,

oversees the day to day operations at the

facility. Deidra has over 15 years of experience

in the service industry. In addition, she holds a

Bachelor Degree in Business Management and

Operations with a minor in Accounting;

acquired at Trine University in Angola, Indiana.

This Integrity Earthurn is hand-crafted from renewable and sustainable resources. This makes your urn suitable

for scattering, burial, or as a beautiful memorial!

(This urn is included, at no additional cost, with all return Private Cremations)

The Remembrance Package:

Includes private cremation, locally handcrafted ceramic urn (appropriate

size provided), In Loving Memory hanging brass nameplate, and paws of

remembrance pawprint keepsake.

The Memorial Photo Package:

Includes private cremation, memorial black photo urn (distributed by

Terry Bear), and a round (unframed) pawprint with pet’s name

stamped on print

The Cedar Memorial Package:

Includes private cremation, locally handcrafted cedar chest with lock

(appropriate size provided), brass nameplate (Name only), and a

handcrafted 6x6inch framed pawprint plaque.

The Zia Memorial Package:

Includes private cremation, and a gourd urn that is handmade by local

artists. These works of art include an engraved tag that hangs from the

ornamental drift- wood on top of each urn by a simple leather cord.
