… but they are also fake• Myths:• Writing is easy for some people• It’s hard for just about everyone • “quote from Anne Lamott”• I suck because I feel uncomfortable/anxious about writing• That’s often how it feels at the beginning. You just have to understand that it’s a phase

and learn to tolerate it.• I am an idiot because I can’t stop myself stressing about it.• You’re not an idiot. You’re trying to protect yourself. That gremlin voice is trying to stop

you from getting hurt. So be kind to yourself. When you hfear that, remember it’s not a destructive voice. It’s a protective voice. But, what you need to do is take that gremline and thank him for trying to protect you, then put him on a shelf for a time-out. I can do this anyway.
