Question: What is a reform? Think of a problem at Tamanend and create a reform with those at your table.

1. Recognize the reforms attempted by Diocletian and Constantine.

B. Constantine Reforms

2. Did not help the decline in the west

3. Moved the capital to a new city in the east – Constantinople – modern day what?

4. Built many public buildings

End Result: Reforms fail in west, work in east. The Capital moves to the east!!!
