The Spandauer Damm Bridge is in terms of traffic arather important overpass in Berlin. It crosses the federalmotorway BAB A 100, the main-line railway and therailway of the S-Bahn and needed reconstruction due tomaterial fatigue of the prestressed concretesuperstructure. This superstructure will be replaced by anew construction with two composite steel and concretebridges. The replacement of the complex of slopesleading to the BAB A 100 including slopes Northeast,Northwest and Southeast, the adaptation of slopeSouthwest as well as the construction of two more roadsign bridges is still necessary, due to an altered trafficrouteing in the transportation hub and the existence ofdamage on the structure.
