New Hope Ministries Update September 2020
Back to School with New Hope!
This year’s Back to School events looked much different than in prior years because of the current health pandemic. Thanks to the community, our volunteers, and staff, the
children and families who come to New Hope received supplies just in time for the new year of school, no matter what it looks like for them. We are so blessed by the generosity of everyone who supports our programs! Including Jason, who completed his chores around the house to earn money to purchase a new Spider-Man book bag filled with back to school supplies for a child at New Hope Ministries! Jason is a true super hero who’s sharing his blessings with others - thank you, Jason!

Most-needed items to stock New Hope’s shelves:
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas?
Yes!! We are getting ready for our annual Christmas Blessings Express program, where our guests are able to shop for Christmas presents for their family. We need your help to make this a Christmas to remember for our guests! Visit our website for all the details on dates, deadlines, and ways to volunteer. You can even download our 2020 Christmas Wish List and ornament template that makes a great virtual Giving Tree at your church or business. Follow along on our Facebook Page, too, for updates.
God’s amazing grace! A guest who was at our Center for assistance expressed that they were in need of a few items in addition to food. They needed a bed and a way to get to work. We signed them up for the food pantry and we were able to provide them with a bicycle. And, we “just happened” to have a bunk bed available! The guest had two children, so the bunk bed was absolutely perfect for their needs! The bicycle worked perfectly for her to get to work! Isn’t it awesome to see God’s hand in all that we do?
