Regional Training Conferences also known as RTCs were a great success. The North RTC was on May 4th at Roxbury High School and the South RTC was on May 17th at Cedar Creek High School. The theme for RTCs is Greek Mythology. Many workshops are given that will help each Key Club member throughout the service year! The workshops vary from a FUNdraising workshop to a Club President workshop. So much information is given to you when you attend these workshops and friendships with other members of Key Club are made! The Fall RTCs are as follow; South- Saturday, September 13th
GCIT Central- Sunday, September 14th
Red Bank Regional HS North- Saturday, September 20th
Parsippany Hills HS
Circle K is for college students. This is a self-governing service organization that helps with leadership developing and community service. Every year Circle K has a picnic for all of the different branches of the K- Family to come together. This year’s picnic will be held on July 20, in Toms River, New Jersey. I encourage you all to attend, so please contact myself for more information.
Aktion Club is a service club for adults with disabilities. The purpose is to give back to the community and help these adults gain leadership skills. The motto of the Aktion Club is “Where development has no disability.”
Kiwanis International is for adults and has to do with service just like the rest of the K-Family. Kiwanis sponsors the other clubs mentioned within the K-Family. Each Kiwanis Club is different, but in the end they all help each person along the way of service!

As we all know Key Club is a High School service organization. The main focus of Key Club is to build our home, school, and community.
Builders Club is a service organization for middle school and junior high students. This helps students serve their school and community. Builders Club also teaches great leadership skills like most organizations in the K-Family.
K-Kids is a service organization for students in elementary school. This truly shows that there is no age limit on helping your community! Young kids are able to learn how to be a leader and help as much as they can starting at a young age.

The 71st Annual Key Club International Convention will take place in Anaheim, CA July 2-6, 2014. For NJ Key Clubbers however, the ICON experience begins on June 30th. This is going to be an experience I will not forget and will be telling you all about when I come home from ICON. Be on the lookout in July for pictures that will make you want to go to ICON next year! Every summer Key Club International celebrates a year of service at international convention. Over 2,000 students and advisors come together to introduce new programs, present awards to outstanding clubs, meet people from many different places, attend educational, useful, and helpful workshops, and elect international officers for the upcoming year.
