Open Letter To The Courts:

Re: Sucesion Gaspar Roca Natali

It is with a heavy heart that I, Diana L. Roca, daughter of Gaspar Roca Natali, write this let-ter. I am at a loss of what to do next and there-fore I must reach out and tell my story. I am at a crossroads of having to resign my inheritance because of lies, deception and lack of sincerity. I have reached the end of the road. I do not have resources to continue this struggle.

I have repeatedly asked my niece and nephew, Mariana and Luis Roca, to sit at the table with us to resolve issues of the estate. They have not. I have informed them of the consequences of their lack of action and/or lack of cooperation will hurt all of us. Either, they have a hidden agenda or are being ill advised; I cannot for-ce them to work in settling the estates debts, selling of properties or even try to collect $28 million plus interest El Vocero de Puerto Rico owes us. I understand that Luis is employed by the newspaper and that might affect his ac-tions, but that does not excuse our legal res-ponsibilities.

As for Maria Luisa Roca, my father’s widow (from a later marriage), she has taken monies that are due the estate. In a document from El Vocero’s accounting offi ce compiled over a year ago and sent to me by Elliot Stein, partial owner of the newspaper, shows that Mrs. Roca has illegally taken over $2 million to pay for her personal expenses, travel, and her families’ expenses. El Vocero has had on their payroll Mrs. Roca’s domestic help and her mother’s full-time nurses. Instead of the monies being place in a legal bank account, all monies that pertained to the estate have been placed in her personal account.

Mrs. Roca and her attorney have harassed me into trying to sign an incomplete and inco-

rrect inventory of the estate. At the time of my father’s death, Mrs. Roca took an IRA account that was in my father’s name and converted it to her name.

I do not have the resources to pay for an attor-ney to fi ght what is going on. I have begged and pleaded with my family to work together and I understand the courts cannot force us to work to a resolution. I just do not know what else to do. I am requesting the court to inves-tigate and intercede in the spirit of justice for the parties who have been abused and mani-pulated.
