DescriptionThe 22255VIC Certificate III in EAL (Further Study)is designed for learners who want to develop general English language and literacy skills and knowledge to participate effectively in the Australian community.

Duration30 Weeks

Entry Requirements:The recommended English language entry level for Certificate III in EAL (Further Study) is successful completion of Year 10 or the equivalent level of study or mature aged entry.

l ISLPR 2, or

l Applicant must be 18 years of age or older or

l Completing the Certificate II in EAL (Further study) course

l IELTS score of 3.5 - 4.5,or

l Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) score of 2

l Learners originating from student visa assessment levels 1 and 2 without the required IELTS score can undertake acumen education’s English Proficiency Test. For information on student visa assessment levels, refer to Department of Immigration and Border Protection website(http://www.immi.gov.au).

Pre-requisites:There are no pre-requisites for this qualification.

Pathways OptionsPathways into the qualification:There are no specific vocational pathways into the qualification as the Certificates in EAL are all ‘bridging’ courses designed to provide the range of learners with language skills for a variety of work or study pathways.
