Transmission
Fecal contamination of food and water caused by poor sanitation
Water borne disease.
Diagnosis
A rapid dip-stick test
Patient history and doing a brief examination
Stool and swab samples – before antibiotics.
Direct microscopy of stool is not recommended, as it is unreliable.
