KEY TERMINOLOGY

Classification: is the arrangement of things into groups of similar items.

A Dichotomous Key: is a tool used to identify organisms based on contrasting pairs of characteristics.

A Kingdom: is the highest level of biological classification (animals, plants, fungi, protists, and two for bacteria).

SINGLE-CELLED ORGANISM:

• Single-celled organisms live everywhere.

• They are so small you need a microscope to see them, but you can see signs of their existence (getting food, producing waste, and reproducing).

Facts about Fungi! Some can grow to adult overnight, or so
