MF GLOBAL DISASTER RECOVERY FACILITYHatmet undertook the new build which consisted of the construction of a number of buildings to house the UPS batteries stores plus CRAC units, generator bases, acoustic walling and the construction of new rooms within the office areas.

The buildings were built within an existing courtyard/delivery area which was still being used during the construction of the building. Hatmet overcame unforeseen difficulties in the ground which consisted of hidden culverts, bedrock and poor soil conditions which challenged the design of the buildings.

The construction was to house a backup unit to the existing offices, data towers and CRAC units that the business depends upon this should the recovery centre be required to be populated by MF Global. The whole project was delivered to the highest of standards and within the programme.
