Economics of Solar Grid-Tied PhotovoltaicsInstructor: Rob Baron, P. Eng.This one-day workshop explores the economic advantages of grid-tied solar PV micro-generation systems, with Alberta-specific examples.

Commissioning Solar PV SystemsInstructor: Eric Smiley, MASC, P. Eng.This one-day practical course includes checklists, case studies and hands-on activities. The class helps toward acquiring the NABCEP Certification in Commissioning.

Eng.This class is designed for PV professionals with a foundation in electrical theory, and teaches how to design and evaluate the performance of PV based solar electric systems. A series of case studies are presented, with practical design examples.

Contracts for the Solar IndustryInstructor: Mark Dyrbye, RETThis one-day technical workshop covers how to write a bulletproof contract for your PV installation clients, and provides a sample template to build your own contracts, plus planning documents. Legal considerations are also introduced.
