TASTING NOTES

This wine was made with Touriga Franca,Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz grapes. This

deep red colored wine reveals fresh andripe red fruit aromas. The structure of its

soft tannins shows the good ripening ofthe grapes, which together with its

freshness, make this a pleasant andbalanced wine.

D O C D O U R O R E D W I N E

It was on the valley of the Douro river that the oldest wine designation of originin the world was born, demarcated and legislated in 1756 under the directinfluence of the Marquis of Pombal. The valley, decorated with vines uniquelyarranged on terraces that are giving a unique and unmistakable landscape to theregion, is classified as World Heritage since 2001 by Unesco. Althoughparticularly difficult to work with, these soils besides being excellent for thelongevity of the vineyards, make true the possibility to obtain very concentratedand unique wines. The Douro region is highly influenced by microclimates arisingfrom the irregularity of the reliefs around it. As a consequence,Douro wines are rich and fresh, full-bodied and elegant with an unparalleledprofile.
