Talking to journalists onarrival in Jamnagar for a roadshow on the first day of histhree-day tour of Gujarat,Gandhi said people are regret-ting having voted for the BJP.

"There is a strong undercur-rent in favour of Congress inGujarat. People want changeand Congress will definitelycome to power this time. Peopleof Gujarat are unhappy with theruling party as they feel cheatedafter giving their votes to the

BJP," said Gandhi, adding thatCongress will help Gujaratdevelop.

The Congress is out ofpower in Gujarat for over twodecades.

JAMMU, Sept 25: A kid-napped girl has been rescued byNarwal police.

As per police sources, fami-ly members of a girl lodged acomplaint with Police PostNarwal stating that their daugh-ter has been kidnapped by Ajayof Nagrota.

Acting over the complaint, acase under relevant Sectionswas registered at Bahu FortPolice Station and investigationstarted.

During the course of investi-gation, police conducted raidsat several locations and finallyrescued the kidnapped girl. Thekidnapper is still abscondingand hunt was going to arresthim.

Police team led by InchargeNarwal Police Post SI VikramManhas rescued the kidnappedgirl under the supervision ofSHO Bahu Fort InspectorBharat Sharma, SDPO EastArun Jamwal and SP SouthSandeep Choudhary.

Soldier killed in Karnah

SRINAGAR, Sept 25: AnArmy personnel was killedwhile another injured in an acci-dental fire in Karnah sector inKupwara district today.

Police said Ganpatram of 20Jat Regiment, was killed in theaccidental fire of another sol-dier when he fell down inKarnah.

The soldier has been killedin an accidental fire and hisbody has been air-lifted to hishome in Rajasthan, they added.
