Look at the forecast for tomorrow’s weather in the GettysburgTimes or at www.gettysburgtimes.com. Draw a picture of what it will look like outside tomorrow. Be sure to include yourself in this picture.

Write the words SUMMER FUN vertically down the left sideof a sheet of paper. Cut out words from the Gettysburg Timesnewspaper that begin with each letter of the words SUMMER FUN and attach them to your paper beside the appropriate letter.

Look through today’s Gettysburg Times newspaper for anarticle that originated in a different part of the state, country orworld that you would like to visit. Cut out the article and attach itto a sheet of paper. Write a paragraph on the back of the sheet of paper about why you would like to visit this place and what type of transportation you will use to get there.

Find your favorite comic strip in the Gettysburg Timesnewspaper. Cut it up and then pass it to a friend to see if they canput the comic back in the correct order. Now make your own comic strip on a sheet of paper.
