No connection between buildings in CampusOnly two computer labs were networked

Primary goal To design and deploy a core campus network,

including;Basic Internet network

DNS, DHCP, Dial-in, Web and E-mail servers

Database and Web server

Training of system administrators

Secondary goalsEstablish a suitable dedicated connection to the Internet for DIT via satellite

Connecting DIT to TIX

Achievements

Configured all necessary services, including e-mail, web, DNS, Dial-in, FTP, DHCP and database

Configured switches and router

Performed an entire network test bed

Delivered technical evaluation document for alternative solutions to upgrade DIT Internet connection

Delivered administrator manual

Clarified information about connection to TIX
