Good evening Susan and Jim

I received a phone call from Jennifer Bowman today. She asked me about how the policedepartment is doing and blah, blah. I told her that we have stopped the bleeding and we have to putsomething together that we can all be proud of (my blah, blah). Anyway, she starts talking to meabout Will Kiser (sp?) from the P.O.L.C. I didn't ask whom reached out to whom, but she read me aquote by Mr. Kiser that he is basically stating that everything I said was a lie, I am a cancer to thecommunity and I forced the administration to chase down a crimlnal and pay him thousands ofdollars.

Jim, you were a union rep for a while. Why is this guy coming out and saying anything aboutme? He works with the unions, not the administrations. He has truly no affiliation with anyone I haveaddressed. Of course, it goes without saying that I didn't back down and said that I wanted a meetingwith the two of you, him, myself and Jennifer and we can all hear first-hand who the cowardis. Jennifer asked for some type of meeting with him and I and he declined saying it would endbad. Well, he's right. For him.

The reason I am putting both of you on notice is because if you would have done what is right andcame out about what I have tried to do (which both of you had your hand out when the time camefor temporary promotions - so glad to see your eagerness to take care of yourselves), I wouldn't haveto be continuing to fight for what is right and the truth. I am sick of this too. But because neither ofyou has the integrity to close the door on this whole thing, the tire tracks keep ending up on myback. But, there again, no loss to either of you. Now it will be back on the front page again. Onestep forward, two steps back.

I will give you another Serpico quote: "Changing the leadership in a police department takes care of

about 20% of the corruption. Changing the culture is the other 80yo."
