NEW TO THIS SHOW

ECS IS HERE TO SHOWCASE ITS PROVEN DUST CONTROL TECHNIQUES

Our Approach

Our philosophy to both dust and odour control is prevention rather than capture once released into the atmosphere.

Dust Control

Historically , attempts to control airborne dust have involved the use of extraction plants, wet spray or misting systems.

Whilst all of these techniques work to an extent – there is another way – prevent the dust from getting airborne.

Dust ControlSo how does foam work?

Foam is applied immediately prior to the dust creation pointAs dust particles are created they collide with the foam

bubbles and become wetted – thus increasing their mass and preventing the dust from getting airborne

Maximum dust capture, minimum moisture

Dust ControlAlternative Techniques

Where foam systems are not suitable – we can provide alternative techniques such as misting systems.

An example of this is unloading / tipping areas.

Odour Control

New for 2010 – ECS launches its Odour Control Division

Our products are formulated to either eliminate and neutralise the odour or alter its biological source. Many are engineered to combat specific odours and can also be mixed to suit.

Solid Waste Odour Control Solutions

These are our areas of focus at present: Landfills Transfer Stations Recycling Plants Compost Facilities

Odour Control – BioStreme

Micronutrient based formulations for suppressing odour generation at source

BioStreme propagated facultative bacteria aggressively continue the decomposition process of organic matter while simultaneously eliminating the odour producing mechanism.

BioStreme can be applied to solid wasteas a surface contact treatment or incorporated directly into the odourcausing substrate.

Odour Control – AirSolutionsOdour Neutralisers and ReactantsEngineered odour control solutions for atomising/misting

applicationsECS AirSolutions quickly neutralise odour-causing molecules

through active chemical processes, converting them into inoffensive end products.

Types of odours treated:• Amines • Ammonia• Mercaptans • H2S• Organic acid odours • Phenol odours

Odour Control

ECS allows site operators to effectively and economically reduce if not eliminate off-site odour complaints by preventing them getting airborne or capturing them if they have become airborne.

Thank you for your attention.Happy to discuss your requirement at stand 1854.
