APPROVALS
ADVANTAGES
The ideal interaction of the SXS withthe fischer CO-NA screw allows forthe highest load-bearing capacitiesin solid building materials andcracked concrete. This allows for aneconomical fixing.
▪
The CO-NA screw causes the plug toexpand in the crack. This isconfirmed by the first approval for aplastic frame fixing for single fixings.
▪
The large diameter of the CO-NAscrew means that high shear loadscan be supported safely. Thus fewerfixing points are required.
▪
APPLICATIONS
Façade and roof substructures madeof wood and metal
▪
Windows▪Fire protection doors▪Guard rails▪Handrails▪Squared timbers▪Kitchen cabinets▪Gates▪
FUNCTIONING
The SXS is suitable for push-throughinstallation. Screwing in the CO-NAscrew causes the SXS to expand infour directions and anchor into thebuilding material.
▪
When a crack forms in the concrete, the cones of the screw activelyexpand, thus increasing theexpansion effect and the holdingforce of the plug.
▪
Countersunk head screws arerecommended for the installation oftimber constructions; in the case ofmetal constructions, use plugs witha wide sleeve rim and a mouldedwasher on the screw, which alsofeatures an integrated hexagonsocket.
