• CSI is a membership programme bringing together city stakeholders including councilors, academics and businesses
• Our standards are already being used internationally. The two standards delivered to date are being included in ISO standards, via the 268 Committee on Smart and Sustainable Cities

• Acknowledgement that Smart City decisions do not fit into election cycles.
• Acceptence that the market failure is mainly demand side.
• IT companies will no longer be seen as the leaders of Smart Cities.
• Residential comes into the mix.
• Cities will not try to copy the same leaders.
• Second and third tier cities will become the new exemplars.
• Cities will spend less time demanding that they are unique.
• Cities will look for the funding differently.
