•Idol made from clay .•Idol bought from an artisan near BMC office, Dadar.•Generally two idols: one big and one small at the pandals.•The small idol is for the priest to offer prayers while the bigger one is for visarjan.•Small pandal need not be bought every year.•This idol was fitted with rollers underneath which helped in the transportation from the site of making to the pooja pandal.

•Clothes used in the pandals are bought by the organisers.

•Rented clothes are not used as they are not clean, and are used in marriages.

•These clothes are sold to the pandalwala after the pooja is over.

•Lighting is outsourced to specialists in Indore.

Pooja materials

•Devotees come in the morning and donate flowers, incensed sticks, oil for the diyas in huge number.•Due to this the daily need for these main puja material is met.

The chaturthi.• if some problem happens overnight while getting the murti they get the murtikaar to work. •Every mandap is removed in 2 days•1stganpati in mulund since 1954.3rd generation now handling the same.
