Ireland: National Tree Week

November 26-December 4 Every school is

encouraged to plant a tree on its grounds during National Tree Week

Tradition since 1975 It is estimated that one

million trees will be planted by the end of this week

Two mature trees will provide all the oxygen a family of four need for life.

Tree Dressing Day encourages the celebration of trees in a public domain.

Tree Dressing ceremonies are held during the first week of December
