Replacement:

1. Securethelifebuoywithacord.ThisisagoodopportunitytotestthelifebuoyfunctionbyactivatingtheReleaseSwitchorpullingthemanualsafetypin.

2. DismounttheERU–usefixedspannersize8.DiscardtheusedERUinanenvironmentallyapprovedmanner.MakesurethatthenewERUiscorrectlymarkedbefore installation.MountthenewERU–donottightenthenuts!

3. Unscrewthelockingscrewforthereleasescrewandremovetheoldreleasecord.Mountthenewreleasecord.TheendsofthereleasecordcanbelockedduringinstallationbypullingthecordendsintotheV-slot.Makesurethatthelengthofthecordis20cmandthatthecordwillbewelllockedbythewasherbeforeyoutightenthelockingscrewagain.

hand.UsethesuppliedthinwhitepilotlinetopullthereleasecordthroughtheH20ERUreleaseunit.Makesurethatthelifebuoylineisnotontheoutwardsideofthereleasecord!

5. PullupthereleasecordthroughtheERUholewiththepilotline.Secureitwiththemanualsafetypin.

6. ConnecttheERUcableattheconnectorbox.

7. Thesystemisnowreadytobeused.TheERUshallbechangedaftertwoyearsofservice.
