HAVANA™Lantana• Heat-loving lantana series with low

seed set

• Reduced flower cycling

• Well-branched with dense foliage and increased flower count

• Notable uniformity in production is maintained through maturity in the landscape

Havana Pink Sky 72196

HAVANA™Lantana

• Medium-compact, tidy habit

• Minimal PGR requirements

• Extra-large umbels and dark foliage

• Gallon finish requires 1 cutting per pot

• Versatile for the landscape, baskets or containers

HAVANA™ Propagation

Sticking:

• A rooting hormone powder or rooting hormone spray (A Hortus IBAWater Soluble Salts spray at 100-200ppm IBA) is recommended foruniformity of rooting.

• 84 and 105 trays are appropriate• 7-12 days in mist house: Lantanas can be somewhat slow to root. Until

roots have established, keep plants consistently misted in lowamounts.

Fertility and pH:

• 100-150 ppm N• Moderate EC at 2.0-3.5 mS via SME• 5.6-6.2 pHPinching:

• Pinch about 2-3 weeks after stick

HAVANA™

Temperature:

• Soil Temperature: 70-75°F (21-24°C)• Air Temperature (day): 75-80°F (24-27°C)• Air Temperature (night): 68-72°F (20-22°C)Lighting:

• Once roots form, supplemental light may be added on cloudy low-light days.

• Shading not required during propagationPlant Growth Regulators (PGRs):

• Havana are naturally compact, no PGRs are recommended in thepropagation phase.

Timing:

• 4-5 weeks from stick to transplant

HAVANA™ Finishing

Container Size Planter Per Pot Finish Time (weeks)

4 in. (10 cm) 1 7-8

6 in. (15 cm) 1 9-10

10 in. (22 cm) and up 3-4 12-14

Pinching:• Pinch as needed to shape• If not pinched during propagation, pinch 1.5-2 weeks after transplant.Fertility and pH:• 150-200 ppm N• Lantanas grow best when fertilized with a blend of nitrate and ammonium

based fertilizers to strike a balance in leaf size, pH levels, and growth habit.• Saturated media with a high salt content drastically increases plant

susceptibility to fungal root rot diseases. Allow media to dry moderatelybetween waterings and leach regularly to limit salt buildup. Another optionis to limit fertilizer ppm so high EC does not occur.

• Moderate EC at 2.0-3.5 mS via SME• 5.6-6.2 pH

HAVANA™ Finishing

Temperature:• Day Temperature: 65-73°F (18-23°C)• Night Temperature: 68-75°F (20-24°C)• Cold, wet, conditions hinder growth and increase disease pressures.Lighting:• 5,000-10,000 fc (53,800-107,700 lux)• Supplemental lighting is optional during finish• Does not benefit from shade during finish• Once transplanted, ‘Havana’ is best grown under high light and warm

temperatures. Full sun outdoor production is ideal.Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs):• Optional Bonzi (0.4% Paclobutrazol) at 2ppm• Optional Sumagic (0.055% Uniconazole) at 10ppm• Optional B-Nine (85% Daminozide) at 1,500ppm mixed with Cycocel

(11.8% Chlormequat) at 1,000ppmPotential Pests and Diseases:• Pythium, Rhizoctonia• Aphids, Whitefly, Leafminers
