ABSTRACT
The Industrial Placement aims to increase the writer’s knowledge and skill in the
Housekeeping Department. The location of the Industrial Placement is the dormitory of
Universitas Multimedia Nusantara at Gading Serpong, Tangerang. It started from 7th July
2020 and ended on 23rd October 2020.
The Dormitory provides the resident a place to stay near the campus. It facilities the
student lounge, laundry, and cafeteria. The writer had to maintain cleanliness in the
dormitory area as part of the job description given from the manager.
This report contains the details about the facilities, job description, and suggestions
for the dormitory. The writer hopes this report can be useful for the readers.
Furthermore, the reports contain the details of rules and regulations during the
Industrial Placement Program. The report describes the details about activities during the
Industrial Placement Program. The writer hopes this report can be a reference for juniors
who wants to do an Industrial Placement Program in this Dormitory.

PREFACE
This report is made to fill the requirement at the third semester of Hotel Operations
Program in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara as Industrial Placement Program. it contains
four of the chapter what the writer got the experience. The writer did an Industrial Placement
at Dormitory Universitas Multimedia Nusantara for four months starting from 7 July 2020
until 30 November 2020.
First, the writer would like to say thanks to Mrs. Evy Novita R., the manager of
Universitas Multimedia Nusantara Dormitory, and Mr. Fahreza Egiyansyah as a supervisor,
and all staff at UMN Dormitory, who help to teach the writer patiently about basic cleaning
procedures.
Second, Dr. Ringkar Situmorang., B.Sc., MBA, as my Industrial Placement report
supervisor, for helping the writer to complete the Industrial Placement report, and monitoring
the situation in the dormitory. Thank you for hearing all the complaints and making sure that
the writer obtained the experience. Thank you to the classmates who always support the
writer.
Third, thanks to God and the family of the writer who always supports the writer, and
give the knowledge and opportunity to take over since the writer born until the writer finished
the Industrial Placement program.
Finally, the writer hopes this report can be useful for the juniors at Universitas
Multimedia Nusantara, Hotel Operations program. The writer hopes that they can gain a
better amount of knowledge about this hotel industry by reading this report on the Industrial
Placement Program.
