You really can be sent each new post from Verbal Identity’s blog

(and other, less interesting blogs) using an RSS feed and Google Reader.

If you have a Google account...

Visit Google.co.uk, click on ‘More’ then click ‘Reader’ ...

You’ll be taken to Google ‘Reader’, where you’ll need to sign in ...

(By the way, if you have a Google+ account, Reader appears on the home

page...)

If you have a Google+ account, you can click ‘Reader’ from the home page, it’s under ‘More’.

If you have a Google+ account or if you don’t...

Your Google reader homepage will look similar to this one (minus the subscriptions)

You’ll need an ‘RSS feed address’ from the blog site. Ours ishttp://www.verbalidentity.co.uk/feed/

On your Google reader homepage, click ‘Add a subscription’, paste the address into the box which appears and click ‘Add’.

The RSS feed which you’ve added now appears in your subscription list. Each new blog post of www.verbalidentity.co.uk (and other less interesting blogs) now appear in Reader.

When you click on an item in your subscriptions list, it will appear like this in Reader:

Or, you can read it in an expanded view by clicking the ‘Expanded’ button.
