Search is now a primary pathway into our collections – is it also a barrier? We found out a lot about how people actually search while doing user research to guide development of the Library’s new cross-collections discovery tool.This presentation also looks at some ways of addressing problems some users have with search including providing support, providing other pathways into content, and connecting people more directly with our content.
