At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Describe interventional radiologic procedures for clinical cancer management and the treatment of vascular diseases.

• Outline CT and MRI protocols and techniques for improved clinical diagnosis of diseases of the thyroid, liver, pancreas, and bowel.

• Explain the performance and processing for MR imaging of the body, including applications in clinical imaging of the abdomen and pelvis.

• Utilize contemporary imaging techniques and protocols to accurately diagnose, stage, and manage diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.

• Describe recent advances and techniques in PET/CT for evaluation and diagnosis.

This course is intended for practicing radiologists and radio-logic nurses, physician assistants, technologists, scientists, residents, fellows and others who are interested in current techniques and applications for advanced diagnostic imaging.
