SERVICE AND PRODUCT CAPABILITIES
The Underwater Services Contracts (USC) is a continuation of a ongoing long-term relationship between Subsea 7 and Shell which dates back to 1984. The USC contracts cover two diverse IRM agreements covering year-round Diving Support Vessel (DSV) and Remotely Operated Vehicle Support Vessel (ROVSV) support.
These arrangements encompass the ongoing inspection, repair, maintenance, and decommissioning services of all Shell’s UK assets and is managed, in partnership with Shell, through an integrated project team model.
Subsea 7 has a long-standing background in the provision of survey and positioning services to clients in support of subsea construction and installation operations. The frame agreement awarded by Canyon Offshore Ltd. is structured around the delivery of personnel, software and equipment in order to enable seabed clearance and to meet trenching requirements, such as determining the accurate depth of burial and to deliver precise pipeline out-of-straightness measurements.
Using the latest positioning, sensing and processing technologies Subsea 7 is responsible for delivering pre and post trench surveys to client specifications with data delivered offshore in exacting timescales to facilitate efficient and informed decision making on board the trenching vessel.

The ROV deployed Subsea Hydrocarbon Sampling Skid is a Subsea 7 designed and built Tool to allow hydrocarbon, or gas samples, to be taken from live production wells with no environmental impact. Hydrocarbon samples are required to model and institute the characteristics of produced well fluids in order to provide fluid composition, flow data for wells, reservoir management and fiscal allocation. Subsea 7 has a long established track record in the design, construction and operation of high quality, cost effective ROV tooling, including a range of manipulator deployed tools, component change-out tools, bespoke intervention tools, pipeline repair products and skids.
