What we do now…

Team building is either done in silos or too general

Conferences / keynotes don’t make use of our existing knowledge base or directly

enhance company cohesion

Each person’s unique expertise or passion is not be fully utilised

Internal value is still a huge reservoir of untouched potential

What can we do to make this happen?

A format to impart our unique value to other employees as a gift

An internal “gift economy” that increases AMP’s knowledge base, and individual value of it’s employees

How it might work…

Ongoing knowledge-chunks are imparted in a meeting room format

Examples

• Time management skills from admins staff• MS Office skills• Photography tips and tricks• Document writing skills • Video editing expertise • Making healthy snacks / sweets• IT tips like upgrade PC / Mac software• Public speaking tips• Motivational tips

To be coordinated utilising a new collaboration site requiring minimal time and cost

Costs• 1 collaboration site - $0• 2hrs / week of admin - $970 (per month)• Rotate administration responsibilities between designated site

owners

People will feel valued (at work), add tangible value, and enhance real company cohesion

As we will be utilizing existing internal value more fully, the cost of training, team building exercises & motivational strategies will be greatly reduced, while increasing our staff retention
