Water Tunnel Project, a record achievementCONSTRUCTION OF ROCK TUNNEL USING MODERN FULL-FACE ROCK TUNNEL BORING MACHINE (TBM),
OWNED TBM INHOUSE.
This tunnel constructed, 127 metres below ground level, for bulk transport of water to Mumbai is an epitome of IVRCL’s safe‐work practices, steadfast resolve and engineering strength.
Achieved record progress of 870.16 meter in one month (October, 2013) with TBM.
This is record in India.

Key Salient Features of the Project ;‐
The scope of work involves the survey, investigation,design and execution of main canal from RD 155 to 206Kms including development of new disnet of 20700 Haand operate and maintain the entire system for a periodof one year.
In the canal there are 5 nos of ‘D” shaped tunnels of 6.0 Mdia for a length of 5 Kms.
Construction of a 650 M long aqueduct along with 27piers of a maximum height of 50.5 M and external dia of2.7 M. The Water flow discharge through this aqueduct is48.580 litres/sec.
12 nos of Aqueducts having a total length of 2.5 Kms
CM & CDWorks in the main Canal – 83 Nos .
The Indirasagar Project (Canals) starts from the Indirasagar Dam located in the District Khandwa and runs for alength of about 246 Kms and irrigates a distributory network of 1.23 Lakh Ha.

Orissa Sewage ProjectAimed at creating an integrated sanitation improvement in Bhubaneswar, the project involves constructing sewers for the district and is indeed, one of the single largest sewerage projects in India.

Open Cast Projects Completed:
IVRCL’s first mining work was successfully execution of Over Burden removal of over 2 million cu m. for SingareniCollieries.
Successfully completed the project of Removal of OB from A2, A3 patch of Rajmahal Area, ECL, for an OB removal of 3.1 million cum in 8 months.
Achieved a peak progress of 5.3 LBCM during May 2012.Completed the work within 8 months of time by executing 30.70 LBCM of OB removal.

CC3 is the China based company having expertise in fast shaft sinking in coal and metal mines both.
They are the expat in raising coal from UG and Opencast Coal Mines (Coal Production capacity.
They can also do high speed mine development work like decline/incline, drives , crosscut and raises in metal mines with
various stope development work
They can do the coal mine district/panel preparation fr depillaring and can do longwall and other high speed coal extraction

Brief Scope of work:
• Further IVRCL led consortium has been awarded with the work of Development of Malanjkhand underground mine of 5 MTPA by M/s Hindustan Copper Ltd., which is one of the biggest underground projects involving sinking of 4 no. of vertical shaft to a depth of approx. 700m each, drivage of 2 no. of declines and its development & supply of winders, ventilation system, crushers & supply of other electro mechanical items with installation.
• Detailed design of shafts, declines, drives, winders & ore handling system. Sinking & equipping of 4 no of shafts of 6.5m – 7m dia., total length – 2638m.
• Excavation of declines, drives, crosscuts, passes, raises etc of total length – 55.40 KM.
