Programme aims

How is this strand changing the sector?

At the end of this strand of work we will have identified where, when and how higher education institutions can use activity data to improve services or improve decision making processes and will have identified any possible shared services in this area.

Programme activities

How will this strand bring about that change?– It will fund experimental projects at both the institutional level

and the national/international level.

– It will focus on addressing real world institutional problems using activity data

– It will fund benefits realisation activities to build on any developments that have wider applicability or offer efficiency savings

– It will support the development of institutional skills and knowledge in this area.

– Where appropriate it will persuade institutions to engage in this area by collecting information about business cases.
