Lack of availability of raw materials.

PDDP provides low margins to the agencies.

Inadequate advertisements.Chances of damaging milk due to the long distance from the collection centres to the unit.

OPPORTUNITIESThe markets for the diary products are very wide so they have wide in exporting.

High market demand.PDDP has good reputation & goodwill in kerala market.

Increasing demand will leads to further expansion without any risk.

THREATS

Strong supply chain management by the competitors.

Artificial products are introducing in to the market at a low price.

Shortage & scarcity of milk.Strong marketing stratagies by competitors by offering the discount coupons to consumers.

Findings

• Supply is less when compared to demand.• Packing of PDDP is not satisfactory.there is a problem of leak in the packet when they get it through delivery.• There is no recreational activities for workers.• No computerized alert system inorder to detect problems in the plant.

SUGGESSIONS• Packing material should be thick, because

freezing is needed for institutional customers.• The management should have to establish

an complaint box & suggession box for the seek of the workers.• Annual market research & market survey

should have to be conducted . It gives a clear picture of the market conditions.• Proper infrastructure to be provided for

better performance of departments.
