Let’s revise some grammar rules

When do we use had better/should/ought to?

Rule:We use should or had better to

give general advice and opinions. They have a similar meaning. We use ought to to give advice for a specific situation. There is the

idea that there will be a problem if the advice is not followed. It is always used in the past simple.

In pairs you should decide who the interviewer is and who the applicant

is.

The interviewer should prepare the questions and the applicant should

choose a job and prepare the answers.
