• A 17-year-old Yankton malewas arrested Friday for simple as-sault.

• Rachel Hopkins, 36, Water-town, was arrested Saturday forfalse impersonation with intent to de-ceive law enforcement and second-degree petty theft.

p.m. Friday that an individual'schecks were being cashed in Yank-ton fraudulently. The individual sus-pected a former roommate fromSioux Falls.

• A report was received at 5:04p.m. Friday of the discovery of drugsand drug paraphernalia in an apart-ment in the 100 block of E. 3rd St.

• A report was received at 5:41p.m. Friday of disorderly conduct inthe 300 block of W. 4th St.

• A report was received at 7:44p.m. Friday of graffiti on a sidewalkin the 1100 block of Spruce St.

• A report was received at 8:22p.m. Friday of an abandoned bike inthe 900 block of W. 12th St. A blackDK BMX bike with no sprockets orchain was placed in the bike locker.

• A report was received at 8:49p.m. Friday of a stolen bicycle in the700 block of Locust St. A boys or-ange mountain bike was taken fromthe front yard of a residence some-time between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Lynd and wife, trav-eling by canoe from Fort Benton,Mont., to New Orleans on the Mis-souri and Mississippi rivers, whocame into Yankton last Tuesdaynight and laid here for a rest, leftyesterday on their journey down-stream. Wheat for Sept delivery was3.25 cents lower at $5.3475 abushel; Sept corn was 4.75 centshigher at 3.6775 a bushel; Dec oatswere 5 cents higher at $3.375 abushel; while Nov soybeans ad-vanced 24.25 cents to $11.0775 abushel.

Beef was mixed and pork washigher on the Chicago MercantileExchange.
