TYPE - LTA general purpose flexible liquidtight steelconduit designed for a variety of installationsrequiring motion, vibration and bending. Itoffers good mechanical and moisture pro-tection to enclosed conductors.CONSTRUCTION:The flexible inner core is made from a spiralwound strip of corrosion resistant platingsteel. The 1/4 through 2 inch trade sizes aresquarelock formed and, with the exceptionof the 1/4 inch size, contain a nylon cordpacking within the convolutions.The larger sizes are constructed with a fullyinterlocked strip for added strength and toprevent unraveling.A flexible yet durable PVC jacket is extrudedover this core creating a liquidtight conduitresistant to most oils, acids and vaporspresent in industrial environments.Refer to Chemical Resistance Chart, begin-ning on page 33.WORKING TEMPERATURES:-20 C to 80 C

APPLICATIONS:This conduit is used extensively in theMachine Tool and other IndustrialEnvironments where flexibility is necessaryfor installation, maintenance or wherevibration and movement must be absorbed.The inherent Sunlight Resistance of PVCenables this product to be used in outdoorapplications. Compatible with StandardLiquidtight Connectors. The construction ofthis conduit conforms to, and is suitable foruse with Sections 16 & 17.7 of theElectrical Standard for Industrial Machinery(ANSI/NFPA-79).
