ALS Programs
• DepEd Del ivered – learning intervention is managed by the ALS Mobile Teachers and District ALS Coordinators in far-flung areas.
- Salaries are provided by the national government.

• DepEd Procured – refers to the ALS program implementation contracted by Department of Education to Non-Government Organizations, Church-Based Organizations and Civil Society Groups using government funds

Monitoring and Evalua&on
• Conduct an annual “Kumustahan sa Barangay”
• “Kumustahan sa Barangay” is a non-‐threatening strategy, an informal way to generate informaHon from implementers, beneficiaries and stakeholders about the program implementaHon.
• “ALS Inter-‐Regional Monitoring & EvaluaHon Scheme” is also used.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION (M&E) FORMS
1. M&E 001 (Financial) – this form is used to monitor disbursement and liquidaHon of funds allocated to the different learning centers and programs at the district and division levels.
2. M&E 002 (Management and Administra&on) – this form is used to monitor distribuHon and uHlizaHon of allocated manpower, supplies, and materials. It also allows to benchmark best pracHces in the implementaHon of the ALS programs
3. M&E 003 (Technical) – this form is used to monitor the processes undertaken in the implementaHon of the program.

• Seek assistance of other government agencies such as DSWD, DOH and LGU
