Abdullah lives with his mother and his grandfather on the outside forest edge of the village. For as long as he can remember, it has always been just his mother and Grandfather, and himself of course. When Abdullah was very small he rode high on Grandfather's shoulders, and as he grew Grandfather taught him everything he knew.
